Marjorie Fine is a fundraising consultant to grantmakers and social benefit organizations. For more than 20 years she has been involved in leading grantmaking institutions. Marjorie was the Executive Director of the Unitarian Universalist Veatch program at Shelter Rock, a national social justice grantmaker that has been faith-based for twelve years. Before that, she was the Executive Director of a public foundation, the North Star Fund, which works with and aids progressive communities in New York City. Marjorie has written and delivered a multitude of fundraising workshops and has won an award for a book she co-produced called Change Philanthropy: Candid Stories of Foundations Maximizing Results through Social Justice. She graduated SUNY Buffalo, and obtained a Master of Social Work degree from Hunter College School of Social Work with a concentration in community organizing and administration.
