Maggie Potapchuk founded MP Associates Consulting, a national practice that works in partnership with individuals and organizations to co-create a racially just world. Potapchuk works with organizations to operationalize racial justice; provides individual and group equity coaching; facilitates white caucuses; writes and conducts research on racial justice practice; and builds networks to deepen learning and collective action. She recently wrote Transforming Organizations by Operationalizing Racial Justice, DEI Strategy is Limited and Potentially Harmful: So Now What? and developed the Racial Equity Decision-Making Tool (REDT), recently released with additions from Raquel Gutierrez. She co-developed www.racialequitytools.org with CAPD and World Trust and curated its 4,500+ resources in 98 categories. She also was on the leadership team of Within Our Lifetime, a national network of racial justice and healing organizations.
Before launching MP Associates in 2004, she served as Senior Program Associate with the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies. She co-developed the Network of Alliances Bridging Race and Ethnicity (NABRE), a national network of over 150 racial equity organizations. Potapchuk was Director of the Dismantling Racism Program at the National Conference for Community and Justice in St. Louis, MO. Potapchuk also serves on the Equity in the Center’s Board.
