Leslie Avant-Brown

Leslie Avant-Brown is the founder and Conductor #1 of Blooming Willow, which provides opportunities for individuals to learn coaching and gain certification by the International Coaching Federation. She has a passion for bringing coaching services to communities that have little access to these resources. In a previous role, she was International Program Director for Leadership that Works, a coach training organization. She specializes in Community Coaching, Coach Training, Trauma Informed Coaching, and Organizational Coaching Integration. Leslie has worked as the Director of Coaching at Beyond Emancipation (B:E) which assists young people who have been in the foster and probation system and are being released from care. Beyond Emancipation benefited from the novel coaching model she helped develop in conjunction with them as the first Director of Coaching. For her role in helping create the coaching model, she won an International Coaching Federation (ICF) 2016 Prism Award Honorable Mention. Leslie graduated from the University of Michigan with a Master of Public Administration and she received her professional coaching certification through Leadership that Works.
